Netflix is still going strong with multiple new series coming out this fall. Any anime lovers? We’ll add anime and the last name Smith, you know this new series Neo Yokio is going to be one for the books. This series is a twist to known anime, Akira, with a Tokyo and New York mix of fashion and lifestyle.
Jaden Smith is starring as the leading character, Kaz Kaan, the “youngest in a family of magistocrats.” Also joking the cast is Desus Nice and The Kid Mero from the Bodega Boys podcast (my fav) and their late night show Desus & Mero on Viceland. Who better than to add that New York flavor than the Bodega Boys?
Kaz’s family of magistocrats once ruled the city with their pink hair and demon slaying skills. Kaz only slay demons when his Aunt Agatha played by Susan Sarandon, but he rather shop and play with Desus & Mero charters Lexy and Gottlieb. The beautiful Willow Smith and Amandla Stenberg will also voice characters sometimes in the series.
